Today we have the spotlight on our Director of Sales, Meg. If you are lucky, you might get the chance to catch her in one of our stores polishing up our sales strategies. Meg is bubbly, ambitious, persistent, and always has a smile on her face! She inspires all of us here at Dress Up to constantly be learning and striving for greatness.
What was your most embarrassing outfit?
Oh gosh... in college I wore cowgirl boots, flare yoga pants, and a graphic hoodie. Never again.
When do you feel most confident?
On Mondays, definitely in heels and wearing red lipstick.
Craziest thing you've done for a customer?
I have hand-delivered orders to customers before, if that counts as crazy!
Advice you'd give your younger self?
Be patient. Don't worry about plans you have created for yourself, and don't focus on just one thing! I was on track to be a professional figure skater all my life and I decided to take a completely different path.
Your dream destination and why?
Milan, Italy! I think it is like a mini version of New York, and since my family is from Northern Italy I want to be able to dive head first into my family's history.
Your holy-grail beauty product?
False eyelashes. The Kiss Blooming lash are only $4.99 and too good to be true!
Most rewarding part of your job?
Seeing employees and/or customers happy! It still warms my heart when I am able to brighten someone's day. I don't think a lot of people understand how much of an indirect/direct impact it makes on our brand.
What do you do outside of Dress Up?
Wellness has been a newfound passion of mine. Recently, I spend my time trying new workouts and cooking healthier meals! I also love hiking in North Georgia, and figuring out how to decorate my home.
Currently reading anything?
Way of the Wolf by Jordan Belfort and Sell It Like Serhant by Ryan Serhant. I like to familiarize myself with all aspects of sales, not just retail!
Who inspires you the most and why?
My grandparents inspire me the most. They are incredibly smart, hardworking and are the greatest support system. I also get a lot of inspiration from all types of art and people. Someone always knows something you don’t, I love talking to everyone and learning!
Which movie has made you laugh the hardest?
Hahaha. Coming to America or National Lampoons Vacation!
How do you like your coffee?
Black with coconut sugar or just vanilla almond milk and a little bit of Hershey’s chocolate syrup!
